Ashborough Lodge is a fifty eight bedroom residential nursing home which caters for Retirement, Long Term Care, Convalescent and Respite Care.
Ashborough Lodge is situated in the Heart of County Kerry, Ireland surrounded by the towns of Killorglin, Killarney, Tralee and Castleisland. It is also within walking distance of the beautiful surroundings of Milltown and just a 20 minute drive from Kerry Airport which serves several UK destinations.
All Rooms are Large Private Ensuite Rooms. Each room has a kitchenette area, which consists of fridge, washing machine/dryer, microwave and kettle. These we feel help people settle in to our home from home. We feel this can keep ones independence for a long as possible and also encourage families and friends to visit in a homely environment.

New Website launched.
We have Nursing Care twenty-four hours a day. Residents will receive as much care as possible while staying here. We try to facilitate residents and their families as much as possible. All health care for residents are provided for, we can arrange for Dentists and Opticians to visit Ashborough Lodge.
At Ashborough Lodge we encourage activities as much as possible, we have music sessions where the local Ceoltais Ceoilte Eireann Groups can come and play. Families and friends are asked to come to an enjoyable nights entertainment. Ashborough Lodge Residents can also attend this event.
Day Care
We try to encourage people who are living at home to come on a daily basis from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm. What they are offered is daily activities, Lunch and Tea. Also people can avail of the Hairdresser, Chiropodist or Physiotherapist while they are here in Ashborough Lodge
In the Day Care Centre we also offer the opportunity to have a shower in the comfort of our private rooms.
Activities are very important to us, and because we have a spacious Day Centre we have different activities which residents are invited to join. We have Yoga Classes, Pilates Classes, and Spiritual Healing also Local Discussion Groups.
On a weekly basis we have Aerobic Classes, Arts and Crafts, Music Therapy (where residents play music together). The mobile library delivers books to Ashborough Lodge and we have days using books which are on cd/tape for residents who might find it difficult to read.
We also have treatment days i.e. Hairdresser, Chiropodist, Beautician who come on a regular basis to the Home.
Religious needs are also very important to us. Weekly masses with your relevant priest or paster are also arranged.
